This year = awesome. SGA accomplished a lot, and we made a full 180 from years past. We had our ups and downs; we had our moments to cherish. To the rest of the cabinet, and to all of our senators, thank you. To the student body, thank you for your unending support, and I [...]

This year I have written legislation supporting the addition of two new fraternities Alpha Tau Omega and Sigma Nu. I have also authored legislation supporting Appalachian’s new Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Program. Next year I aim to work on streamlining Baseball tailgating to enhance the students experience and help increase attendance and promote the Baseball team.

Frank Hall Senator, Trey Lawson
In PR/Civic we have been working very hard for elections. We have painted big posters and gave out 1000 cupcakes for students who vote. Since elections are over now we have started to work more on volunteerism in the community and getting many more students involved around campus.

Off-campus Senator, Chelsey Hanna
Imagine it’s 4:55 p.m. on any given weekday of your choice. You have a meeting at 5:00 p.m. but you can’t park anywhere nearby until the clock strikes 5:00 p.m., and before you know it you’re rushing off to a meeting that you’re already late for and preparing for an awkward entrance into. The fact [...]
